Energy Efficient Houses

Starting from the increasing need for shelter as well as more and more discourse about global warming world.

Then it will spur the world of design experts to create a "Home Energy Saver. " For those living in the tropics, "Home Energy Efficient" is a form of response to the social context, namely the electricity crisis, electricity-saving movement, and global warming. The concept of "Home Energy Efficient" is a concept that is being undertaken to prevent global warming and suppressed the use of electricity significantly.

There are several aspects to consider in the concept of "Home Energy Efficient" in every building, office or housing, such as the scale of the room and the amount of space that is sometimes excessive. In the concept of "Home Energy Saver", the more trees and proper air flow window will give comfort to the good air flow so that energy demand for air conditioning and fan can be suppressed.

According to Drs. Ir. Eddy Prianto, CES., Award recipient Indonesian Engineers Association (PII) 2007 says: for the concept of "Home Energy Saver", accounting for nearly 40% of the energy required for air conditioning a building, and 35-38% for the same demands on housing. Use of the fan requires 18-20% of the total energy for buildings and offices, and no less 20-25% for housing.

In the use of solar panels to generate electricity at home, there are some things we need to consider because of the characteristics of the solar panel:

Solar panels require sunlight. Place the solar panel in a position where not obstructed by objects throughout the morning until the afternoon.
Solar panels produce direct current electricity, DC.
For higher efficiency, use DC lamps such as LED lights.
Installing a new cable for direct current DC to the following example: LED-based lighting (Light Emitting Diode), CCTV cameras, wifi (wireless fideliity), etc..
